Exciting New Opportunities for Girls & Women at Noranda Emerald FC in 2027
Noranda Emerald Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting expansion of our female football program for the 2027 season, with the introduction of two new junior girls’ teams and a new Ladies Social Team.
Following a very successful 2026 season for our Ladies team, we are excited to build on that momentum and continue growing female football at NEFC.

Building on a Successful 2026
Our Ladies have enjoyed a fantastic 2026 season, and their success has highlighted the continued growth and potential of female football at Noranda Emerald FC.
We want to build on this by creating more opportunities for girls to get involved from a younger age, develop their football and, importantly, have a clear pathway to continue playing within the club.
The introduction of our new Under 12 and Under 14 Girls teams is an important step towards establishing that pathway.
We warmly welcome all of our existing female players to continue their football journey with NEFC, while also encouraging new girls to come along and become part of the club.
Whether you currently play for NEFC, have played football elsewhere, or are completely new to the game, all players and all levels of experience are welcome.
New Ladies Social Team
As part of our continued growth, we’re also excited to introduce a Ladies Social Team for the 2027 season.
This team will provide another opportunity for women to enjoy football in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment. Whether you’re returning to football, trying the game for the first time or simply looking to stay active and meet new people, we would love to have you involved.
The focus will be on enjoyment, fitness, friendship and being part of the NEFC community, with all abilities welcome.
Growing Female Football at NEFC
Our goal is to create an environment where girls can begin playing football at a young age and have opportunities to continue progressing through the club into senior football.
After the success of our Ladies in 2026, we’re excited about what the future holds and look forward to welcoming even more girls and women into the NEFC family in 2027 and beyond.
