About Us

Noranda Emerald Football Club (NEFC) is a proud community-based football club built on passion, development, and opportunity.

Formed in 2025 through the merger of Noranda City Football Club and Emerald Football Club, NEFC brings together the proud histories, strong cultures, and shared values of two established clubs with a united vision for the future of football in our community.

This merger has strengthened our club, creating greater opportunities for players, coaches, and families while maintaining the welcoming, family-focused environment that both clubs were built upon.

For many years, Emerald FC proudly represented the Irish football community in Perth, fostering a strong sense of culture, connection, and belonging. Through the merger, NEFC proudly continues to celebrate and honour this important Irish heritage, alongside the long-standing community foundations established by Noranda City FC. Together, the club reflects a unique blend of tradition, inclusiveness, ambition, and community spirit.

Run by passionate volunteers and dedicated coaches, we are committed to supporting players at every stage of their football journey. We strive to ensure our coaches and players are equipped with the right tools, development, and support to help them achieve their goals — both on and off the pitch.

At NEFC, we believe football is about more than the game itself. We are passionate about creating lifelong friendships, strong community connections, and positive experiences for every player. From MiniRoos and Juniors through to Women’s, Metro, Masters and Amateur football, we provide opportunities for all ages and abilities to be involved in the game.

Importantly, NEFC now provides clear development pathways for our junior players to progress through the club and aspire to play at Premier level, creating exciting long-term opportunities for player growth and success within a single club environment.

We are a community based football club run by passionate volunteers who love football and are proud to support each other in the development of our players.

We strive to ensure our coaches and players are well equipped and supported with the right tools to give them every possibility to be successful in their football journey with us.

We are committed to laying the early foundations so our Juniors can make friends for life and have solid pathways to continue their careers from Juniors to Seniors.

Our players are trained from Miniroos and Juniors right through to Seniors and Masters.
